Godknows Pomerai

Godknows is a 32 year old oil painter and drawing artist. He started drawing when he was in high school. He acquired most of his knowledge through mentorship from other artists. As he vividly recalls, Godknows would spent the whole weekend painting with a friend who also loved art. Godknows enjoys being experimental. He mainly uses oil paint and pen.

He lives in Mutare and has been part of major exhibition such as; "Tsika dzedu",curated by Keith Zenda; "Framed Perspectives", curated by Valerie Sithole and "Tenacity", curated by Valerie Sithole. He also enjoys surrealism as a way of self expression and to address social issues. Godknows finds calmness and peace in painting. His main goal is to convey the same peace and a deep sense of belonging to the viewer, at the same time inducing love and care for nature.
