I am a Visual Artist, who specialises in Fine Art and Digital Art. My artworks and styles are versatile, and mainly inspired by impressionism and abstraction instead of realism. In my personal time, I often make African themed digital portraits and artworks which I share on my social media handles.

Asides from being an artist I work as a Creative Designer, with my strengths being Graphics Design, Motion Graphics, Video editing and Videography. Furthermore I am also a hobbyist 2D animator and 3D Generalist.

Gladys Chibanda is a Zimbabwean multidisciplinary artist, designer and creative entrepreneur whose practice explores African material culture, identity, heritage and sustainability through contemporary design and creative making. Her work spans graphic, packaging, textile and product-oriented design, with a particular interest in transforming discarded and culturally significant materials into functional contemporary objects.

She is the founder of Krafted Ink Packaging & Design Studio, through which she develops bespoke packaging, stationery, visual identities and creative products that combine African aesthetics with contemporary design and sustainable production. In 2024, her practice was represented by Krafted Ink at Weave Fortune, a Zimbabwe–Korea 30th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations Commemorative Art Exhibition held at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Harare.

Her practice is informed by an interest in cultural heritage, indigenous knowledge systems and the potential of design to preserve memory while creating new cultural and economic value. She is currently pursuing studies in Culture and Heritage Studies, further developing her engagement with Zimbabwean history, culture and material heritage.
